In the heart of the old rope and market town of Bridport, 2 miles from the renowned harbour town of Westbay on the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast. This 3-storey, terraced town house situated in a cul-de-sac, offers a great place to stay for up to 6 guests and 1 dog.

 

It is ideal for enjoying Bridport with its many shops, restaurants and markets, and the surrounding countryside and beaches. This Townhouse comes equipped with covered parking for 1 car, free Wi-Fi, 2 double rooms (one with en-suite), a bunk room and a family bathroom.

Lilliput house has two bedrooms and the family bathroom on the ground floor. There is plenty of storage space, a washing machine and access to the private courtyard garden.

 

The first floor is an L-shaped, open plan living, dining and kitchen space - the first floor location of this room means it is full of light and provides beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Being open plan, it provides a lovely sociable area which is great for cooking and entertaining but at the same time provides a relaxing space for enjoying a good film, book or board game.

 

On the second floor is a large loft bedroom with en-suite shower room.

The local area

Bridport is a fantastic countryside town with a range of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. Every Wednesday and Saturday there is a traditional market and the town has many second hand furniture shops which can entertain for hours. Nearby at Westbay, scene of the TV series ‘Broadchurch’, and the small village of Eype, you can take in some great coastal scenery, walking, fossil hunting and seaside activities such as fishing, boating and swimming. Explore this spectacular coast from Lyme Bay in the west all the way to Weymouth and Portland in the east, with many family attractions to call on. Inland Mapperton Gardens, Forde Abbey and Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum for family days out are worth a call, or perhaps a trip to Exeter, Sherborne or Dorchester might take your fancy. Beach 1¾ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Lilliput Cottage is in the heart of Bridport with all amenities within easy walking distance. The private car parking space means exploring the surrounding countryside is easy. Even without a car the property lends itself to exploring the local area. The property is located conveniently near the Bridport bus station which connects to neighbouring towns along the Jurassic coast. These bus services also provide direct links to Dorchester and Axminster which have direct train links from London and Bristol respectively.
